Chirping Bird Society Blog Nominated for the Liebster Award

The Chirping Bird Society blog was recently nominated for the Liebster Award by The Plastic Ocean Project as one of its five blogging picks! The award is a creative way of honoring, as well as bringing attention to those who are volunteering their time and energy in order to bring awareness to, the global environmental issues that are important to us all.  We are so delighted that the Chirping Bird Society has been considered with other bloggers who share the same passions and goals for our planet.

The idea of bringing awareness to the problems of plastic pollution and finding ways to promote a healthier planet are well advanced with many groups and organizations, but our favorite five for the Liebster Award include:
Ted Duboise:   www.plasticbagbanreport.com
Capt. Charles Moore (our lead chirping bird!):   www.algalita.org/blog/
Jim Ries and his children, Olivia and Carter:   www.onemoregeneration.org
Danielle Richardet:   http://itstartswithme-danielle.blogspot.com/
Paul Sharp:   www.twohandsproject.org/
